Van Gogh Museum Announces Whistler and Eva Gonzalès Programme

From 16 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Van Gogh Museum will stage the largest European retrospective of James McNeill Whistler in thirty years and the first of its kind in the Netherlands. The programme also examines shared interests between Whistler and Van Gogh, including Japanese art. The museum has also announced the first retrospective devoted to Eva Gonzalès, organised with the Petit Palais for 12 February–20 June 2027.
