Stolen Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse Works Recovered

Italian police have recovered three works stolen in March.

The Italian Carabinieri art squad recovered Renoir’s ‘Fish’, Cézanne’s ‘Still Life with Cherries’ and Matisse’s ‘Odalisque on the Terrace’, stolen in March from the Magnani Rocca Foundation near Parma. Police detained five people and said the investigation remains open. The return of works valued at millions of euros marks a major development after the fast, forceful museum theft.
