The 1866–67 scenes of everyday life are together for the first time.

The Museo del Prado has brought together for the first time eight paintings made by Valeriano D. Bécquer in 1866–67 for a government commission. Recording dress, custom and daily life in Zaragoza, Soria and Ávila, the group is regarded as an exceptional example of 19th-century Spanish genre painting. The exhibition runs in Madrid from 13 July to 4 October 2026.
